A comfortable stay in our Hiker's Cabins in Drenthe goes hand in hand with good facilities. On our campsite is an ecological and sustainable sanitary building which you can use. What makes this building so unique and special is that literally outdoors is brought indoors for a top nature experience.
Wi-Fi is everywhere for a fee and in addition there are charge points for electric bikes and cars installed on our nature camping. So you can always feel confident when you go out and about.
A cabin is a simple wooden 1-room cottage, ideal for a cycling or walking holiday, a few days rest or visiting family on the camp site. Hiker's Cabins are for rent per night (but also for several nights) and simply furnished, with a bed, pillows, seating, light and electricity and a cooking device. All you need to bring is a sleeping bag and pillow case and pots and pans, cups, plates and cutlery. There is no running water and toilet facility in the cabins, but for this purpose you can use our beautiful toilet building.

During your stay in one of our cabins in Drenthe you can enjoy the fantastic nature of Drenthe. As host of the adjacent National Park Dwingelderveld, we can provide a lot of information about this nature reserve and we offer our guests free nature excursions. It is also possible to book a balloon flight from the campsite, however at an additional charge. You experience a nice trip over the campsite and the nature reserve, depending on the wind.

For a nature experience you are in Drenthe in the right place, but also in the area of culture, history and pleasant day trips out, the county has much to offer. To mention a few: you can visit camp Westerbork in Hooghalen, the Drentse dolmens or Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen. You can also discover picturesque villages. In Havelte, Orvelte and Diever there is an abundance of history and are nice restaurants and craft shops.
